Mrs. Malcolm H. Reed of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Phyllis Merrill of Louisville, to Dr. Harold Lawrence McPheeters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. McPheeters of Garden City, New York. A Christmas Eve wedding is planned. Miss Merrill, the daughter of the late Mr. Gilbert F. Merrill, is a graduate of Charles School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, the Boston School of Occupational Therapy, and Tufts College. For the past two years she has been in charge of the occupational therapy department department at the Norton Memorial Infirmary. Dr. McPheeters, a graduate of Lafayette College and the University of Louisville School of Medicine, is a senior resident physician at the Norton Psychiatric Clinic.
