LX.

Upon your name, light-earth

and great gate of the house of life,

I prayed and showed myself submissive

to that great, first Mānā

and that great, first Kannā of glory,

whose name is Haš-ufraš

the Preeminent, Great, First,

our fear and our dread,

whose voice is wondrous

and whose speech is other-worldly.

He receives prayer and praise

and brings them up to the great place of light

and the shining dwelling.

He also receives my NN's prayer and praise,

brings them up to the great place of light

and the shining abode,

and delivers them to the great Jāwar.

Commentary

This is the prayer and praise that has come for the men of proven righteousness to this world that is all birth.

Every one who performs this prayer will be granted a remission of sins.

Every Nāsōraean who performs this prayer, dedicates himself to the prayer and calls these names in truthfulness - then a guardian of the light will come and will take the place in my (NN) dwelling.

And I NN will seek and find with this prayer, say and be heard, conduct my trial and prevail and stand without sins and offenses in the great place of light and in the shining dwelling.

Praised be the life, the life is victorious.

These two petitions of the consolidation of the prayer read after the hymns of the crown before the great "Blessed and praised be the life" (= Qol LXXI).

These are the songs and hymns and the fortification of the prayer, which I have copied, I poor and miserable one, the servant who is all sin, the persecuted one, whom the seven, the sons of the void dwelling, persecuted, I, the servant Adam Zihrūn, son of Rabbi Bihrām Sithlan.... which he has copied from the selection (Qolastā) that Hibil Jahiā, son of Sām Sājōjā, had copied, which the latter had copied from the autograph of Bainai, son of Zakiā, and his mother Hajōnā, daughter of Jahiā, which they had copied from the thesaurus that was deposited with them from the village of Tīb. Rāmōjā, son of Eqaimath, had been a builder there. Rāmōjā had copied them to Ašgandā, and Ašgandā had copied them to Zazai from Gauwaztā, son of Hawieā, whose father's name was Katar. Zazai had copied them from the leaf of the first life.

Life rejoices in all eternity; life is victorious over all works.

In the name of the great life shine my sense, my knowledge and my insight, me NN, through these responses "When the chosen, pure one went".
