Prayer for the Pihta

Mark Lidzbarski3807156Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 361920Wikisource
XXXVI.
In the name of life.
I adore, glorify and praise that great, hidden, first Mānā,
who dwelt 999,000 myriad years in his own Škīnā alone,
to whom no comrade had approached
except that great, hidden, first Mānā,
in whom he dwelt and became great.
Then I adore, glorify and praise that great, hidden, first Nituftā,
from which had arisen those who had dwelt 144,000 myriad years in their own Škīnā alone,
to whom no comrade had approached.
Then I adore, glorify and praise Šar,
that great, hidden, first vine who dwelt with them.
Then I glorify, exalt and praise Pirūn,
that great, hidden, first vine
from which 880,000 myriad of Uthras arose.
From them and those Uthras arose an Uthra
whose name is "the great face of glory,"
the smallest among his brothers,
the oldest among his fathers.
Mandā d-Haijē, the equipped Uthra, taught, revealed, and said,
"Over every Nāsōraean who says sitting
'you first life is established'
and establishes the Pihtā,
damnation will come from the house of life."
But I am established by the light of life.
And the life is victorious.
