Prayer for forgiveness

Mark Lidzbarski3807230Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 721920Wikisource
LXXII.
Good is the Good for the Good,
and his name is set up over those who love his name.
We seek and find,
we speak and are heard.
We sought and we found,
we spoke and we were heard before you,
my Lord Mandā d-Haijē, the Lord of healings.
Forgive us our sins, offenses, follies, stumbles, and errors,
as well as the one who made this, bread, (the mass) and this meal.
The sins, offenses, follies, stumbles, and errors
will be remitted by my lord Mandā d-Haijē
and the great, first life
to the giver of wages and alms,
to them, their spouses, their children, and disciples,
as well as to those who have offered this bread and this food.
You, too, my parents, my masters, teachers, and disciples,
when you are laid down (at the time),
will be granted a remission of sins on the left
as well as on the right.
say:
Life stands firm in its Škīnā.
Praise be to life,
life is victorious over all works.

Commentary

[edit]
This "good is the good for the good" recite (as a consecration) when you read the requiem mass,
recite it when you perform the baptism,
recite it when you distribute the oil,
recite it when you perform a prayer,
recite it after your prayer, after your Pihtā and Mambūhā,
recite it when you prepare the table.
And life is victorious.
