And the affliction of the Shekhina even though it's on three sides, in TKYA"H which is light judgement RaFe"H, and in ShBRY"M which is harsh judgmement DG"Sh Gevurah — she has no affliction like the affliction of her husband which is TRUA"H. And the hint of the thing (Ex. 32:18): "Ein kol `anot gevurah/ It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery..." - this is ShBRY"M - "w'ein kol `anot chalushah/ neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome..."- this is TKYA"H - but rather "kol `anot anokhi shome`a/ the voice of affliction I hear" - this is TRUA"H.

וְעִנּוּיָא דִשְׁכִינְתָּא אַף עַל גַּב דְּאִיהִי בִּתְלַת סִטְרִין, בִּתְקִיעָ"ה דְאִיהִי דִינָא רַפְיָא רָפֵ"ה, וּבִשְׁבָרִי"ם דְּאִיהוּ דִינָא קַשְׁיָא דָגֵ"שׁ גְּבוּרָה, לֵית לָהּ עִנּוּיָא כְּעִנּוּיָא דְבַעִִלָהּ דְּאִיהוּ תְרוּעָ"ה, שַׁלְשֶׁלֶ"ת, וְרָזָא דְמִלָּה "אֵין קוֹל עַנוֹת גְּבוּרָה" (שמות לב, יח) דָא שְׁבָרִי"ם, וְאֵין קוֹל עַנוֹת חֲלוּשָׁה דָא תְּקִיעָ"ה, אֶלָּא "קוֹל עַנּוֹת אָנֹכִי שׁוֹמֵעַ" דָּא תְרוּעָ"ה, דְּסָלְקָא בְּעִנּוּיָיא דָא בָתַר דָּא כִּתְרוּעָה, וּבְגִין דָּא "אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם יוֹדְעִי תְרוּעָה" (תהלים פט, טז), אַף עַל גַּב דִּשְׁכִינְתָּא אִיהִי בְּעִנּוּיָיא מִימִינָא וּמִשְּׂמָאלָא, לֵית עִנּוּיָיא כְּעִנּוּיָא דְבַעִִלָהּ, תְּרוּעָ"ה דְאִיהִי תוֹרָ"ה עַיִ"ן אַנְפִּין, וְאִיהִי תְרוּעָה דִילֵיהּ, וּבְגִין דָּא (דף מח ע"א) "אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם יוֹדְעִי תְרוּעָה".

Another thing: kol `anot anokhi shome`a (Ex. 32:18) - is the affliction of anokhi shome`a, for she cries out every day up above, she and her children, and calls to Him twice a day evening and morning Shema Yisrael; and any mortal that is afflicted for the Shekhinah being poor in exile, apart from her Husband, and calls to Him each day Shema Yisrael, that He sould come down to her, precisely of him it's said kol `anot anokhi shome`a - "the voice of affliction" - of that poor one - "I hear."

דָּבָר אַחֵר קוֹל עַנוֹת אָנֹכִי שׁוֹמֵעַ (שמות לב, יח), דָּא אִיהוּ עִנּוּיָא דְאָנֹכִי שׁוֹמֵעַ, דְּאִיהִי צָוְוחַת בְּכָל יוֹמָא לְמַעִִלָה, הִיא וּבְנָהָא, וְקָרָאן לֵיהּ תְּרֵין זִמְנִין עִִרֶב וָבֹקֶר שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְכָל בַּר נַשׁ דְּאִית לֵיהּ עִנּוּי מִשְּׁכִינְתָּא, דְאִיהִי עַנְיָא בְגָלוּתָא, רְחִיקָא מִן בַּעִִלָהּ, וְקָרָא לֵיהּ בְּכָל יוֹמָא שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל, דִּיְהֵא נָחִית לְגַבָּהּ, וַדַּאי עֲלֵיהּ אִתְּמַר קוֹל עַנּוֹת אָנֹכִי שֹׁמֵעַ, קוֹל דְּעִנּוּיָא דְהַאי עַנְיָא אָנֹכִי שֹׁמֵעַ.

Someone stood up with a sling - this is the lower Shekhinah, and one stood up with a bow - this is the Berit Tzaddik, of him it's said, ShWF"R HWL"Kh PZ"R GDW"L (the walking beauty, the big dispenser). Her arrows are the Tzaddikim of Yisrael who have received the Berit, in the merit of which they'll go out from the exile. And the hint of the thing (Gen. 47:23), "He lakhem zera`/ Hei-Alef, to you is seed," which are drops; that's ZRK"A.

קָם אֶחָד בְּקִירְטָא וְדָא שְׁכִינְתָּא תַּתָּאָה, וְחַד בְּקַשְׁתָּא דָא בְרִית צַדִּיק, עֲלֵיהּ אִתְּמַר שׁוֹפָ"ר הוֹלֵ"ךְ פָּזֵ"ר גָּדוֹ"ל, גִּירִין דִּילָהּ אִינוּן צַדִּיקִים דְּיִשְׂרָאֵל דְּקַבִּילוּ בְרִית, דְּבִזְכוּתֵיהּ נָפְקִין מִגָּלוּתָא, וְרָזָא דְמִלָּה (בראשית מז, כג) הֵא לָהֶם זֶרַע, דְּאִינוּן טִיפִּין וְדָּא זַרְקָ"א.

Tana'im and Amoraim up above got up and blessed him and said, "Let a mark (o.v. crown) protect you from the arrows of the exile! Of you it's said (Ps. 91:5), Lo-tira mipachad laylah mechetz ya`uf yomam/ You will not fear from terror of night, from the arrow that flies at day. The bow and arrow of the side of holiness protect you. And tachat kanafaw techeseh, tzinah w'socheirah amitto/ And under His wings you will take cover, his truth is a shield and buckler. Tzinah, shield, is the Lower Shekhinah, and socheirah, buckler, is the Central Pillar.

קָמוּ תַּנָּאִין וַאֲמוֹרָאִין דִּלְעִילָא וּבָרִיכוּ לֵיהּ, וְאָמְרוּ מַטָּרָה ({{רגיל|נ"א עטרה) תְּהֵא אֲגִינַת עֲלָךְ מֵחִצִּים בְּגָלוּתָא, עֲלָךְ אִתְּמַר (תהלים צא, ה) לֹא תִירָא מִפַּחַד לָיְלָה מֵחֵץ יָעוּף יוֹמָם, וְקַשְׁתָּא וְחִצָּא דְסִטְרָא דִקְדוּשָׁה יָגֵן עֲלָךְ, וְתַחַת כְּנָפָיו תֶּחְסֶּה צִנָּה וְסֹחֵרָה אֲמִתּוֹ, צִנָּה דָא שְׁכִינְתָּא תַּתָּאָה, וְסֹחֵרָה דָא שְׁכִינְתָּא עִלָּאָה, אֲמִתּוֹ דָא עַמּוּדָא דְאֶמְצָעִיתָא.

He got up and said: Tanaim Tanaim! Let the Mishnah come to your aid, and do not change from mercy to din. Let Halakha go to your right side, to gain mastery over your enemies. Kabbalah, let your prayers be received. Baraita will extract you and your children in the exile, and from subjugation and din of that minister that's appointed over exile upon your children. As soon as he blessed us he ascended up to his place.

קָם אִיהוּ וְאָמַר תַּנָּאִין תַּנָּאִין מִשְׁנֶה תְּהֵא

בְּעִִזְרַיְיכוּ, וְלָא תִּשְׁתַּנִּיאוּ מֵרַחֲמֵי לְדִינָא, הֲלָכָה אָזְלַת לִימִינָא דִלְכוֹן, לְאִתְגַבְּרָא בָּהּ עַל שַׂנְאֵכוֹן,  קַבָּלָה תִּתְקַבֵּל צְלוֹתְכוֹן, בְּרַיְיתָא אֲפִיקַת לְכוֹן וְלִבְנַיְיכוּ מִגָּלוּתָא, וּמִשִּׁעִִבּוּדָא וְדִינָא דְהַהוּא דִמְמַנָּא עַל גָּלוּתָא עַל בְּנַיְיכוּ, מִיָּד דְּבָרִיךְ לוֹן סָלִיק לְאַתְרֵיהּ.

Rabbi Shimon got up in front, opened and said: Tanna, Tanna, stand up straight! For behold that sling is yours, and it's the Shekhina, and with it are cast three stones, which are the three drops of the Upper Brain which are YYY, and they're comprised of Chokhmah, Binah and Daat.

קָם רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן בְּקַדְמֵיתָא פָּתַח וְאָמַר, תַּנָּא תַּנָּא אִסְתַּמַּר לָךְ, דְּהָא קִירְטָא לְגַבָּךְ, וְדָא שְׁכִינְתָּא, וּבָהּ אִזְדְּרִיקוּ תְלַת אַבְנִין, דְּאִינוּן תְּלַת טִפִּין דְּמוֹחָא עִלָּאִין, דְּאִינוּן י'י'י', וְאִתְכְּלִילוּ בְּחָכְמָה בִּתְבוּנָה וּבְדַעַת.

He said to him, Rabbi (Num. 24:21), "Your nest is in the rock!" For that bow is yours, which is the Ot Berit. Stand up straight from its arrows which are three, WWW, which amount to ChaY, and that's Cha"Y Almin.

אָמַר לֵיהּ רַבִּי שִׂים בַּסֶּלַע קִנֶּךָ, דְּהָא קַשְׁתָּא לְגַבָּךְ דְּאִיהוּ אוֹת הַבְּרִית, אִסְתַּמַּר מִגִּירִין דִּילֵיהּ, דְּאִינוּן תְּלַת ו'ו'ו', דְּסָלְקִין חַ"י בְּחוּשְׁבַּן, וְדָא חַ"י עָלְמִין.

A second Tanna stood up and said to him, Behold the Tanya that helps you, with the spear (RoMaCh) which are the four Parashiyot, and that's W' which is the Central Pillar, including the six words of the Yichud, and the RM"Ch words of which it says (Num. 24:21) W'sim b'sela kinneka/ and put your nest in the rock.

קָם תַּנָּא תִּנְיָינָא וְאָמַר לֵיהּ, הָא תַּנְיָא דִמְסַיֵּיעַ לָךְ, בְּרוּמְחָא דְאִיהוּ כְּלִילָא מֵאַרְבַּע פַּרָשִׁיָּין, וְדָא ו' דְּאִיהוּ עַמּוּדָא דְאֶמְצָעִיתָא, כְלִיל שִׁית תֵּיבִין דְּיִחוּדָא, וְרַמַ"ח תֵּיבִין דְּאִתְּמַר בֵּיהּ (במדבר כד, כא) וְשִׂים בַּסֶּלַע קִנֶּךָ.

For behold the Karnei Parah (bull horns) on you, which are the two prophets of truth, of them it's said (Ps. 132:17), "Atzmiyach keren l'Dawid/ I will make a horn to shoot up for David." "U'matzmiyach keren yeshu`ah/ and He makes a horn to shoot up for deliverance" - from the side of the Shekhina it's called Karnei Parah, from the side of Shor/ bull, (Deut. 33:17) "W'karnei r'em karnaw/ and his horns are the horns of a wild-ox," and they are the first and second Mashiach, Y' W'; first and second temple, H"H.

דְּהָא קַרְנֵי פָרָה ֟ לְגַבָּךְ, דְּאִנּוּן תְּרֵין נְבִיאֵי קְשׁוֹט, עֲלַיְהוּ אִתְּמַר (תהלים קלב, יז) אַצְמִיחַ קֶרֶן לְדָוִד, וּמַצְמִיחַ קֶרֶן יְשׁוּעָה מִסִּטְרָא דִשְׁכִינְתָּא אִתְקְרֵי קַרְנֵי פָרָה, מִסִּטְרָא דְשׁוֹר (דברים לג, יז) וְקַרְנֵי רְאֵם קַרְנָיו, וְאִינוּן מָשִׁיחַ רִאשׁוֹן וְשֵׁנִי י' ו', בַּיִת רִאשׁוֹן וְשֵׁנִי ה"ה.

And the Shekhina picks up a [royal purple] garment (purpira) from red fire that constitutes a stoa (walled or covered walkway, itztaba'ah), and the red is called (Deut. 19:2), "parah adumah temimah/an red heifer, unblemished." Adumah precisely, from the side of Gevurah, temimah from the side of that one of whom it says (Gen. 17:1), "Hithhalekh lefanai w'heyeh tamim/ Walk before me and be wholehearted;" (Num. 19:2), asher ein bah mum/ that has no blemish in her, from the side of Yaakov in whom there's no garbage, as it says of him, (ibid. 25:27), "W'yaakob ish tam/ and Yaakov was wholesome," the Upper Yaakob. And in his face, the Lower Yaakov, "asher lo-`alah `aleiyah `ol/ that no yoke was ever raised upon her" - from subservience of the exile, since she is called the Upper Shekhina, and not only that but also that she's called Shabbat, as she is restricted from work, since she's called Cherut/ liberty.

וּשְׁכִינְתָּא נַטְלָא פּוּרְפִּירָא מֵאֶשָּׁא סוּמְקָא וְאִצְטַבְּעַת בָּהּ, וְאִתְקְרִיאַת סוּמְקָא פָרָה אֲדֻמָּה תְּמִימָה (במדבר יט, ב), אֲדוּמָה וַדַּאי מִסִּטְרָא דִגְבוּרָה, תְּמִימָה מִסִּטְרָא דְהַהוּא דְאִתְּמַר בֵּיהּ (בראשית יז, א) הִתְהַלֵּךְ לְפָנַי וְהְיֵה תָמִים, אֲשֶׁר אֵין בָּהּ מוּם מִסִּטְרָא דְיַעֲקֹב דְּלֵית בֵּיהּ פְּסוֹלֶת, דְּאִתְּמַר בֵּיהּ (שם כה, כז) "וְיַעֲקֹב אִישׁ תָּם", יַעֲקֹב דִּלְעִילָא, וּבְדִיּוֹקְנֵיהּ יַעֲקֹב דִּלְתַתָּא, "אֲשֶׁר לֹא עָלָה עָלֶיהָ עוֹל" (במדבר יט, ב), מִשִּׁעִִבּוּדָא דְגָלוּתָא, בְּגִין דְּאִיהִי שְׁכִינְתָּא עִלָּאָה אִתְקְרִיאַת, וְלָא עוֹד אֶלָּא דְאִיהִי אִתְקְרִיאַת שַׁבָּת, דְּאִיהִי אָסוּר בִּמְלָאכָה, בְּגִין דְּאִתְקְרִיאַת חֵרוּת.
