Chap. XXII.—An Act for the relief of Henry Fanning.
To be discharged from imprisonment.Be it enacted, &c., That the secretary of the treasury be, and he is hereby authorized to cause to be discharged from his imprisonment, Henry Fanning, of the city of New York: Provided, however, That any estate, real or personal, which the said Henry Fanning may have or hereafter acquire, shall be liable to the satisfaction of the said judgment, in the same manner as if he had not been imprisoned and discharged: And provided further, That nothing in this act contained shall be so construed as to affect the liability of any co-obligor that may have been bound with the said Henry Fanning for the payment of any money to the United States.
