Hi, this site is Wikisource, not Wikipedia. So please refrain from writing article-type author-biographies here. Thanks. Hrishikes (talk) 12:56, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I was just coming here to say the same thing. The sites are meant to be complimentary and people can follow the link to see the biography. Imagine if we tried to replicate things for every author. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:10, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam

[edit]

Are you able to identify the source of the work that you are adding? Do we have details to show that the translation is out of copyright? — billinghurst sDrewth 06:09, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have just Copy Paste the Words that was written earlier and Used it to make Subpages. Danish AMC (talk) 06:33, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay, unfortunately there is no evidence that the work by the translator, who died in 1985, is in the public domain. If you can find evidence that the work is in the public domain then please lodge an undeletion request at {{WP:CV]] with that evidence and the community can discuss the undeletion. It seems that we should have undeleted that root page earlier. — billinghurst sDrewth 08:30, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

On the English Wikisource, we do not create pages for living persons with no hostable works. There are a few exceptions for high-profile writers, but generally we do not create such pages. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:57, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
