Index files...

[edit]

Thanks for your efforts, but can you slow down a bit, and actually check there is valid authorship information? and that the pagelists are intacts? Thanks. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 00:16, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

You were asked nicely before..

[edit]

See above.. Please slow down and check pagelists, and authorship. Also I would suggest you concentrate on one work at a time. Upload, proof , and only then upload the next Index.. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 11:00, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not just dump OCR..

[edit]

A suggested above, please concentrate on ONE Index at a time, and make some attempt to proofread before saving. Dumping large swathes of un-proofread text isn't useful to other contributors. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 10:25, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I will correct it step by step.--Kohykft (talk) 10:33, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Second hand transcriptions

[edit]

Hi, while we applaud the desire to bring in works we don't already host, we have a policy that we don't accept second hand transcriptions—that is transcriptions done by other sites such as Project Gutenberg. See What Wikisource includes for more details. As a result I will be going through your recent contributions that are copy/paste transcriptions from other sites and deleting them. The best way to bring works in here is to proofread them from the uploaded scans. Thanks, Beeswaxcandle (talk) 08:13, 11 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
