Are you planning to nominate this work for FT? There is currently no nomination, so tagging this work as a candidate is premature, unless you are writing the nomination now. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:25, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I'm sorry it took me a few minutes to write up the nomination. Nosferattus (talk) 03:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Orlando: A Biography

[edit]

Is this a work you intend to seriously and consistently work on for the coming weeks? We've held off adding it to the Monthly Challenge because (as you've noticed) the text layer is off by a page. But if you are going to avidly pursue completion of this work by creating pages with the correct text, then I think we can add it to the MC. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:12, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

@EncycloPetey: I'm afraid I can't fully commit to it at the moment, but possibly. Nosferattus (talk) 02:24, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Do you intend for this work to use straight quotes throughout, or curly quotes? --EncycloPetey (talk) 01:54, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@EncycloPetey: Great question. I hadn't really thought about it. Since the OCR transcription does straight quotes I suppose it's easier to keep them straight. Is there any trend on Wikisource of using one or the other? Nosferattus (talk) 02:22, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Various people usually prefer one or the other, but either is acceptable as long as the work is consistently one of the two. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:34, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
