2006-06 admin
Bookofjude[edit analysis] is a relatively new user, but has accomplished quite a bit in his three months here. Active since March 2006, he has contributed 2371 edits at an average rate of 37.56 per day. He was recently appointed an administrator on the English Wikipedia after an impressive landslide discussion of 141 support votes to 1 oppose vote (the latter of which was "Oppose. There CANNOT be a unanimous RfA"). He is quite active in the community, has contributed significantly to standardisation, vandalfighting, and template design, runs extremely useful database queries through his toolserver access, and runs a modified version of the AutoWikiBrowser semibot on request to automate tedious or vast tasks. Much like Shanel above, there are no users I'd recommend more glowingly than Bookofjude. —{admin} Pathoschild 05:16, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

2008-08 admin
Jude voluntarily gave up his adminship in 2007, but has recently become active again. I have known Jude for a long time, and I can vouch for him as both an editor and sysop. While he has been absent for some time, he is bringing himself up to speed on all the changes and discussions that have happened, including everyone's favourite topic, copyright. I have no reason to believe that he would not continue his previous good work, and wholeheartedly support him being an admin again.--Shanel 03:28, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

- Support for the same reasons I used in 2006. He's a varied editor and excellent administrator with plenty of experience in many aspects of Wikisource, friendly, technically-adept, a bot operator, and a member of the cabal. —{admin} Pathoschild 04:26:01, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

<sigh> Remove. 18 edits in the past year, none of which were content contributions. No edits since 12 May, so in six days he will meet our definition of inactive. No edits on any other WMF project since 14 May. He's gone, I'm afraid. Hesperian 12:41, 6 November 2010 (UTC)- Keep per Zyephyrus. Good admin. So long as he is active in the community somehow, I'm happy for him to keep the bit. Hesperian 23:40, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep. Has continually been on the Wikisource chan and helped, is still there now. --Zyephyrus (talk) 17:22, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Remove if he can continue to be on the WS channel without being an admin.--Longfellow (talk) 20:22, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- I don't want to be awkward - I'll withdraw my objection if that's the consensus.--Longfellow (talk) 21:22, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep, as per above analysis by Hesperian (talk • contribs). -- Cirt (talk) 00:23, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep -- though it contradicts the "policy" at face value, the above support by others indicates he/she has been working elsewhere to improve/support WS over the same period of time. -- George Orwell III (talk) 00:34, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- As noted above, I've not had much time to dedicate to Wikimedia projects recently (I've unofficially retired myself from all other WMF projects) but I try to help out on the Wikisource IRC channel if necessary. If it's decided to remove my bit, that's fine. When, in future, I have more time to dedicate, I'm comfortable to go through an election again to get it back. Jude (talk) 10:32, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep is around #Wikisource channel and can manage emergency calls if intervention is required. Useful to have and won't abuse tools. Review again in 2011. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:09, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep, Watching the store and having the key could be helpful. Jeepday (talk) 17:35, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep I agree with sDrewth. Due is quite active on IRC and him keeping his admin rights seems right. Especially, in case of emergencies. Due is not the type of person to abuse them or the type of person to get in a revert war. Keep! --Mattwj2002 (talk) 10:35, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- Keep; due is never far away. --John Vandenberg (chat) 10:36, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

- Remove tools, Appears to have left the all Wiki's. No objections to restoring status if user returns to active contributor. JeepdaySock (talk) 11:54, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
- debutton he is still around IRC but not wikying. When he deigns to give us his preciousness, he can get his ointment again. :-)
- Support: is always here (on IRC) and I know is always ready to help if difficulties occur, so I prefer he keeps the tools. --Zyephyrus (talk) 19:45, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

- Remove tools as inactive. I see the last confirmation had similar concerns and that s/he was content to lose the bit until such time as s/he becomes available again to contribute. Availability in IRC is all very well, but when it doesn't translate into visible contributions, then having access to the tools seems pointless. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 02:38, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
