Larry has only been here on Wikisource since late October 2009, however he has quickly demonstrated a passion for the project, and a decent understanding of how the software and community work. He has worked on a few texts, and participated in a few collaboration projects.
After seeing a few good maintenance edits, I was impressed when he deftly highlighted the outstanding copyright issue with Categories, and then he found {{copyright-until}} and made improvements to it. He has initiated copyvio discussions which have resulted in deletion (1998 Cornell Senior Convocation Speech & My Life – Its Legacy and Message), conceded another in light of new information[1], and has participated in copyvio discussions raised by others.[2] John Vandenberg (chat) 13:05, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Support as nom. In a short time, Larry has satisfied the criteria for Adminship. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:05, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

- Support. As Wikisource:Possible copyright violations/Special discussion for pages tagged as PD-manifesto has a long list of outstanding copyright concern, coming to provide useful comments will be better.--Jusjih (talk) 04:55, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

- Support: when we lack reasons to remove access (inactivity or misuse), the only action to be taken is to ensure that it is kept. Jude (talk) 00:50, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

- Neutral not quite inactive, but no admin actions since last May, and only 11 in the last year. I don't think LarryGilbert needs the admin tools at this time, but if there is a specific reason he would like to hold on to them, that is also fine by me. --Inductiveload—talk/contribs 05:34, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

- Neutral I looked at cross wiki, and not seeing much activity anywhere. Echoing comments of Inductiveload, would be nice to have feed back from Larry, if he would like to keep the tools. JeepdaySock (talk) 16:33, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
