Opening prayer of the Jordan

Mark Lidzbarski3807040Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 121920Wikisource
XII.
I am Jur, son of Barit. I shone in rich splendor.
The radiance heated up, the Tannā melted.
Its Škīnā formed and sustained in the house of life.
And the life is victorious.

Commentary

[edit]
Read this prayer and touch your head bandage.
It is the opening of the Jordan.
Then read "I went to the Jordan".
