XX
Blessed be you, outer gate,
blessed be you, light dwelling.
Blessed be you, great shining beings,
mighty, great light beings.
Blessed, praised and glorified
be the Uthras who dwell at the Jordan.
You Jordan be gentle for these souls who have descended into you.
And healing be to them for the sake of truthful speech and the raising of the Jōkabar-Zīwā.
And life is victorious.

Commentary

[edit]
This is the firming of the Jordan.
When you "firm" the Jordan, when you baptize (several) souls, say as it is written.
If the soul is One, say "the soul of the NN who descended into you."
Then go up to the shore and read "out of the Jordan I went up".
