Be faithful to the source
[edit]Hello. Thanks very much for trying to improve Wikisource texts. However, please keep in mind that all Wikisource texts have to be faithful to original sources, i. e. our text should not include anything which is not present in the original source. This includes also videos, images, signatures and annotations. Although we require that a source of the text is always given, we do not create any "references" section in the mainspace page (as e. g. Wikipedia does), unless such a section was included in the original source text too. Instead, we mention the source on the work's talk page. -- Jan Kameníček (talk) 19:59, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
