I do try and take care to not delete works that you can copy over to Wikilivres. In this case I did not realize and still do not understand why it would be acceptable there. It has been at WS:COPYVIO for over a month with no one objecting to the idea that it is clear violation of copyright (not just unacceptable for Wikisoure's stricter standards). Obviously you must see some loophole that I cannot which would show it not to be a copyright violation. If you will take care to leave a note about such works being acceptable to Wikilivres I would not delete them until all is copied. And of course, if I recognize something that would be acceptable there I will leave you a note. But this is a US work that is fully copyrighted, I do not know what I am missing.--BirgitteSB 23:29, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- The author died in 1936, so by the 50 pma rule, it should be PD, isn't? Actually it seems that it is also PD in Europe. Yann 08:36, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

I tried to proofread some pages of the above, but the Contents and Abbreviations are out of alignment with the original so I left them unproofread and some pages need Sanskrit writing images. Re: Duplicates On Wikisource:Transcription Projects
[edit]How exactly did you determine which ones were "duplicates". Taking a random cross-section:

Translation and stating a source
[edit]Hello Yann, thanks for your greeting!
Today, I started editing Russian Wikisource according to my "vintage ethnography" interest.
My long-planned thing is an accurate Russian translation of the article Catholic Encyclopedia (1913)/Kutenai Indians.
Now that I nearly finished it, I would like to know if there is an accepted order on how to formally (0) name (1) state the article source and (2) categorize the article about an ethnic group accurately in the Russian edition when translated from the Catholic Encyclopedia (1913).
For the Catholic Encyclopedia there is a template here, but I am not sure it may fit into Russian edition at the moment.
Please give advice or tell who I may consult on these issues.
I think I am going to ask my questions on the Russian edition too, but en.wikisource seems to be a lot more "populated" at the moment so some of the issues may have already been discussed here.
Thanks in advance, Tar-ba-gan (talk) 10:10, 29 September 2008 (UTC) (my lair in en.Wikipedia)

- Ok, I see that I might be confusing you. Here, you added a space that makes affects all other templates that use this template. Here is a result. You will see that there is an unnecessary space right between the template and the body of the text. This is a source of confusion. I impore you to delete this extra space you did here.24.70.95.203 03:14, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Yann Ignores Plain Information
[edit]Recently Yann deleted a new posting because of a copyright message. Yann failed to read (or, worse, failed to understand) the sentence that followed it, "Copyright shared with all who retain the previous line", which clearly is an "open" licence for copying it. Yann did not even bother to TRY to find out that the one who posted it was the actual author! And if this Wiki site has a more-clear way of specifying copyright status among the selection-options, when a new text was posted, it is obviously NOT so clear to a new user, or this mess would not have happened.
Thanks + Maid of Amsterdam
[edit]Thanks for your welcome. I can't get this, my first effort, to format. Getting stuff how you want it seems to require something different than on en.wiki. For instance on en.wiki, I can just press return to make a space between to lines, like I was in Microsoft Word. All help/cleanup appreciated!:) Sticky Parkin (talk) 14:21, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Question about your edit to Template:DJVU page link
[edit]Hey, why did you add the right alignment to {{DJVU page link}}?[1]
I ask because it makes it impossible to use multiple instances of the template on the same line; I had to create Page:Arte or Crafte of Rhethoryke - 1899.djvu/5 without the template, otherwise it looked very bad (the first number of the range, the hyphen, and the last number of the range were each on their own lines). Since I'm going to be creating a similar template (but about five times larger and more complex), I'd rather use the template.
Thanks. EVula // talk // 21:09, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for the welcome message. I do have a few questions regarding formatting. My goal is to add all 5 Pennsylvania constitutions (1776,1790,1838,1874,1968) plus the myriad colonial constitutions. I am not clear on how I should go about 1) proper formatting 2) naming conventions 3) how to organize them.
I have already added Pennsylvania Constitution of 1790, Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 1776,Plan or Frame of Government for the Commonwealth or State of Pennsylvania, and A Declaration of the Rights of the Inhabitants of the Commonwealth or State of Pennsylvania. The former was printed in 1959, the latter was printed in 1922. I am using the latter. There isn't a "move" tab on the file pages, so I did not know how to move/rename the file.
