Catherine Elizabeth Finn (1863-1918) was a migrant from Wales to the United States in 1873 or 1874. She never married and she worked as a private secretary at the American Lead Pencil Company (now Faber-Castell) in Hoboken, New Jersey. When her sister died, Catherine raised her child, Mary Margaret Burke (1890-1949).

Mrs. Norton, a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, is survived by her husband, Thomas P. Norton, Sr., and three sons, Thomas; Vincent and James Norton."
