The Qur'ān is the central religious text of Islam. Muslims believe the Qur'an to be the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad over a period of twenty-three years by the angel Gabriel and regard it as God's final revelation to mankind.

This is a Modern Literal Translation (Free Minds) of the Qur'an. This text is by no means as sacred as the original non-translated Arabic Quran is considered to be.
